The power mechanism
sets the FAMCO Air Shear apart; two
deliver the full rated capacity. Features FAMCO quality construction,
including all-steel, box-type bed and members for rugged, rigid support.
Installations fast and easy; simply connect the air line and wire the
solenoid valve to any 115 volt AC control panel.
Available in 12GA; 14GA; 16GA. Capacities in mild steel and up to
1/4" ABS Plastic, in 24" to 84" cutting widths.

"P-100B" Series feature
an anti-friction clutch and brake. The orttech pneumatic
clutch and brake are trouble-free units, self-compensating
for wear. This 360' engagement clutch provides instantaneous,
accurate shear operation - assuring the consistent repetition
essential to effective cut-to-length lines and feed operations
of all kinds.
Available in 14 GA;
16GA; 18GA capacities in mild steel and up to 1/4" ABS
Plastic, in 24" to 72" cutting widths.

"P-WG" Series
transmissions feature a silent worm gear, with an anti-friction
clutch and brake. The worm is part of the one-piece clutch
shaft to insure true rigidity. Worm and gear rotate only
during the cutting stroke - a fraction of the total operation
time of the shear. The Orttech pneumatic clutch and brake
are trouble-free units, self-compensating for wear. The
gear box with a 15 to 1 ratio offers smooth operation with
high torque capability.
Available in 10GA; 12GA and 14 GA in mild steel and up
to 3/8" ABS
plastic in 24" to 10 ft cutting widths.

"PC" Series Shears are
equipped with a compact, low-inertia, high-torque pneumatic
friction clutch and brake. These trouble-free units never
need adjusting, as they self-compensate for wear. This 360'
engagement clutch provides instantaneous, accurate shear
operation - assuring the consistent repetition essential
to effective cut-to-length lines and continuous feed operations
of all kinds.

The most modern design
is incorporated in this rugged, big capacity series of
FAMCO squaring shears. Whether cutting to capacity or very
light gauge material, each cut is square and accurate .
Fast air clutch engagement makes the shear in this series
ideal for high production.

HEAVY DUTY 3
Models - 10 Gauge 52" - 60"-72" Cutting Length

High Speed 10 gauge cut-to-length line shear. Air clutch,
air brake, DC control circuitry and 250 stroke per minute operation
makes this shear ideal for high production, accurate shearing.
Also available in 10 gauge 80" wide, 3/16"-72" wide,
and 1/4"-52" wide capacities. Passline height is 42" shown.
